Welcome to 'the Pattison's blog'. Its Saturday morning and as usual Ian and I are in our dressing gowns planning what we should be doing instead of sitting on the couch playing on laptops and ipads. maybe we should paint the house, clean the house, go to Brno or simply vegetate on the couch all day.
As you can see on the photos, the Pattison children are energetic and raring to go.

Neo sleeping in the cat bed (kindly donated by for BFF Mollie).Last weekend, Sunday was a beautiful sunny day and so we went to local park to fly Ian's new helicopter - model helicopter - I think the Retzers would have had a heart attack if it were a real helicopter. So here is a photo and video of the first flight. What the video does not show is 10 seconds later, after I told Ian to fly higher, it did a nose dive into the mud, oops. Not to worry Ian has a new found passion for taking helicopters apart and rebuilding them on the dining room table.
By the way, if you are wondering why this helicopter has 4 yellow balls sticking out at the bottom, these are 'Eugene's' training wheels ( makes it easier to land apparently).Video:
Right decision made - we are going to the pet shop so we can feed the sleeping beauties.

Very impressed by the take-off, but concerned there was no record of the first landing. I hope it was as successful!
